Randy

Capote

Pastor Randy is our lead pastor and he is excited to lead our church to minister to our local community as well as to support mission endeavors around the world.  He received his bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University, and his master's from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.    He pastored 2 churches in the New Orleans area before returning to the Metroplex. He has served as pastor of South Park since March of 2001.  Pastor Randy is married to Lea Rhea, and their son Greg, and daughter Lisa live in the metroplex.

Henry

Loftin

Henry leads our praise and worship joined by a very diverse and talented praise team.  Henry is also the director of Glowing Heart Ministries.  Henry and his wife Jill have been members of South Park for a number of years. The Loftin family includes their daughter Tabitha and her husband Shane and five children, son Robert and daughter Sarah and her husband Dakota.

Austin

Binz

Austin ministers to the students and teachers at South Grand Prairie High School on campus and at our CoffeeStop.  Currently serving as our interim youth pastor teaching on Sunday mornings as well as ministering to the students on Wednesday evenings, Austin is married to Samantha, recently received his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth and is currently working towards his Th.M.degree in Theological Studies. 

Emmanuel Lalfelkima

Emmanuel is our missions pastor.  Originally from India, Emmanuel is called to lead and pastor the Mizo people residing in the Metroplex.  He recently received  his doctorate at Southwestern Theological Seminary in theological studies.  He and his wife Laltei and their three beautiful children joined our staff in 2016.

Radical Returns


Our Radical College Ministry kick-off for the spring semester starts Thursday, January 23 at 6:00 pm.  Meet at South Park.  We will be watching, "The American Gospel" which explores the core question of Christianity, 'What is the gospel?' Through the distorting lens of American culture.

Ladies Bible Study


Beginning February 6, at 6:30 pm the ladies will begin a new journey through scripture. "Even Better than Eden," by Nancy Guthrie.  Experienced Bible teacher Nancy Guthrie traces 9 themes throughout the Bible, revealing how God’s plan for the new creation will be far more glorious than the original. But this new creation glory isn’t just reserved for the future. The hope of God’s plan for his people transforms everything about our lives today.  Sign up and pay by 1/19/20 - $12 for Book 

Student Lock In

January 31 -  9 pm to 7 am - Feb 1

All Students grades 7 through 12 are welcome! Bring a friend, bring your favorite game, snacks, and if you want to crash bring a sleeping bag and pillow. 
All activities will be at the church. 

Come and have fun and build and strengthen relationships!
